Trying to get caught up..... Part 2

Here are a few more pictures that brings us up to date. Phew!
Eliza thinks that anything works, if you work it with confidence....

Such poise.....
Such grace....

Trying to get caught up... Part 1

Dad has been very ineffective at keeping the blog updated, but in his defence, he has been a little busy. Since the last post we have moved to Connecticut and Dad has started working a project in Atlanta 4 days a week. No more excuses, here are the pictures
We live directly across the street from a big park at our new digs, so you will notice a lot of the pictures are taken there.
This pictures dates itself by the lack of sleeves..... I know, its been a while!
"How long has it been since you rode a bike Dada?"
Just chillin' with her very comfy polar bear

We took a short drive to one of the farms in Connecticut. This is the hayless hayride through the apple orchard.

In the park running again (there is a lot of running when you hang out with Eliza)
"Me? Not me. The toddler you want to leave the park with you is over there"
We headed down to Princeton to see Margarita, Mike and Adrianna, went to another farm, this time enjoyed a pony ride

Sophia's First Birthday Party

We all went out to the Stephans' place in Sag Harbor, NY to help Sophia celebrate her first birthday. In keeping with true Aussie traditions, Sophia's mum Helen had Pass-the-Parcel AND Fairy Bread. Probably one of the best parties Dad has been to in a long time (probably 20 odd years actually...)
Helen, Sophia and Nick
Opening presents is fun for everyone
Eliza with her Pass-the-Parcel loot (The fact that Eliza and the "man" working the parcel music are related is purely COINCIDENTAL....)
Mira, Gautam and Sangita
That's right, Fairy Bread - For the unfamiliar, it is white bread, butter and 100's&1000's, basically a sugar sandwich ;-)
The birthday girl Sophia and her excellent ladybug cake. It appears the Sophia was little concerned that the flaming beetle may just walk right off the plate - Grace, to the left, figures there is something going on

Fun Times, Friends and a Farewell to Hoboken

A lot has been going on since the last post. Though Dad is the first to admit that the posts are few and far between at the moment. We have moved from Hoboken, NJ to Old Greenwich, CT but before we moved we got a chance to have some fun and get some pictures of Eliza's friends. We will miss them.

First the Friends
Eliza and Benjamin
Augustus

Patrick
Eliza and Kieran
Eliza and Cecelia, who unfortunately couldn't come with us to CT because it is too far away.

Now the fun
Eliza's first pride parade in the city. She loved the costumes, the music and the dancing. (You have to trustus, that's what's going on behind the baracade)
Hot day at the park in Hoboken
Eliza still loves the swings, only now she wants to go higher!
Eliza is a cross between a billy goat and a monkey, and we have the bumps and bruises to prove it!

Dad's work has a summer event each year, this year it was at the small amusement park within Central Park. Eliza loved some rides more than others. This one she loved.
This one Dad loved....
Eliza was "so-so" on just how fast you can go on a heshan bag and polished plastic
Nothing more fun and a hose and a bucket...

Do you count the Months or the Years?

Well, Eliza is 18 months or a year and a half (depending on where you went to school) old now, and along with most other parents we can concur that time really does fly. Here are some pictures we took to mark the occasion.
