We all went out to the Stephans' place in Sag Harbor, NY to help Sophia celebrate her first birthday. In keeping with true Aussie traditions, Sophia's mum Helen had Pass-the-Parcel AND Fairy Bread. Probably one of the best parties Dad has been to in a long time (probably 20 odd years actually...)

That's right, Fairy Bread - For the unfamiliar, it is white bread, butter and 100's&1000's, basically a sugar sandwich ;-)
The birthday girl Sophia and her excellent ladybug cake. It appears the Sophia was little concerned that the flaming beetle may just walk right off the plate - Grace, to the left, figures there is something going on
